Continue working 1:1 with a coach on personalized and targeted goals

Enroll to begin your next coaching engagement.

In some instances, LinkedIn allows for an additional two months of coaching, after you've already completed your coaching engagement for the fiscal year. When this is open, you will see available dates in the dropdown. If there are no dates available in the dropdown, additional coaching is not available at this time.

Important note: If enrolled and your preferred start date is oversubscribed, you will automatically be added to the next available time.

How it works

Every Torch engagement follows the same four-step rhythm.

1. Evaluate

Building self awareness is the first step toward growth. The Torch Leadership Assessment helps experienced professionals gain clarity on existing strengths and development opportunities.

2. Coach

During regular 1:1 video sessions, an experienced Torch coach will help build a custom development plan based on goals and the 360 results.

3. Execute

Leaders then set their own growth goals with the help of their Torch coach. Together, they will define specific actions to track progress and hit leadership development targets.

4. Grow

Integrate learnings and capture insights for a new leadership future.

Frequently asked questions

Why was this experience created?

LinkedIn is excited to help all employees be more productive and successful in their careers via coaching engagements. Through these coaching experiences, LinkedIn can support your development of the required, desired, and future skills you need to adapt and thrive, achieve business results, and reach your career goals in this ever-evolving, rapidly changing environment.

What is Torch?

LinkedIn has partnered with Torch, a coaching specialist, for the past several years, to provide coaching services broadly across the organization. This partnership allows LinkedIn team members to receive additional support in their ongoing career development from someone beyond their manager.

Who gets to see what I’m working on with my coach?

Your coaching sessions are private to you and your coach. We encourage you to share with your manager about your goals, learnings, and reflections. The LinkedIn Coaching team will only receive aggregated program-level coaching themes and feedback reports from Torch for program management purposes. Your individual-level engagement data (such as your start date, how many sessions you complete, etc.) are visible to the LinkedIn Coaching team.

What will I work on with my coach?

We recommend participants work on a career action plan that identifies 1-2 near term development goals to work on with your coach. Some ideas for development to focus on with a coach include: adaptability, agility, effective communication, and career planning.

General terms

The experience is a two month Coaching Engagement, including: coach match; two continuous months of coaching, and access to the Torch Platform.
